The Ultimate Guide To Pizza Hut Rewards
/Pizza Hut Rewards allows you to earn and redeem slices (points) for free food. In this ultimate guide, I’ll be looking in detail at earning slices, redeeming slices (best and worst redemptions) as well as answering a list of FAQs.
How Do You Join Pizza Hut Rewards
You can join Pizza Hut Rewards on the website or through the Pizza Hut app.
You’ll earn a free garlic bread when you sign up to Pizza Hut Rewards as a new loyalty member but you won’t be able to redeem it immediately. You’ll receive the free garlic bread offer after your first order and this will expire after 2 months.
You must be 18 or over and be a UK resident to join Pizza Hut Rewards.
Where Can I Earn/Redeem Pizza Hut Rewards?
You can only earn and redeem Pizza Hut Rewards at Pizza Hut Delivery locations (delivery or collection). This includes walking in to a Pizza Hut Delivery store and placing an order.
However, you can neither earn, nor redeem slices in Dine In Pizza Hut Restaurants.
Earning Pizza Hut Slices
You earn one Pizza Hut Slice per £10 spent.
This doesn’t include spending with gift cards and you must be logged into your Pizza Hut account to earn slices. Any slices you’ve earned will be credited within 24 hours of the order being placed.
There is no maximum to the number of slices/points you can hold in your account (but the maximum reward is worth 10 slices).
Can You Earn Partial Slices?
No, you can’t earn partial slices/points. So, if you spend £19.99, you’ll only receive 1 Pizza Hut slice. If you spend £21, you’ll only earn 2 slices, and so on.
Can You Earn Slices On Cash Orders?
No, Pizza Hut Reward Slices cannot be earned on cash orders.
How To Redeem Pizza Hut Slices
To redeem Pizza Hut slices, you can either apply them at checkout online (once you’ve decided on your order), or you can tap on your slices directly on the Pizza Hut app.
There are 3 reward types you can get, each costing a different number of slices.
5 Slices - Classic or Premium Side
7 Slices - Medium Pizza (Pan/Classic/Italian/Gluten Free Crusts)
10 Slices - Large Pizza (Pan/Classic/Italian/Gluten Free Crusts)
You can order pizzas with Stuffed Crust or Cheesy Bites but they’ll cost the same number of ‘Slices’ plus £2.59 or £2.99 respectively. Trial, special and seasonal products are all excluded.
Is There A Minimum Order Requirement?
Yes on deliveries, no on collections. If you’re using slices, there is a minimum spend of £4.99 on deliveries. If you choose to collect, there won’t be any minimum order amount when using slices.
Can I Use Slices In Conjunction With Other Offers?
No, if you’re using Slices on your order, you can’t combine them with other offers (like ‘Buy One Pizza, Get One Free’).
What's The Value Of A Pizza Hut Slice?
A Pizza Hut Slice is valued between £0.60 and £2.28, depending on how the slice is redeemed.
Since you have to pay £10 to get one slice, that effectively means, you’re getting somewhere between 6% and 23% off subsequent orders by using slices Not a bad saving at all, especially if you use them efficiently (see below).
Bear in mind that does imagine being really efficient when earning slices too. If you spend £10 or £19.99, you’re still only getting 1 slice. If your earning isn’t as efficient, slices might save you somewhere between 3% and 11% going forward (again, still not a bad saving).

Enter your Pizza Hut Reward Slices Total in the calculator below to work out the value of your rewards. This is based off of an efficient £2.28/Slice redemption but your point value may be lower if you select a different reward. See best and worst redemptions below.

Some of the main takeaways? Firstly, medium pizzas clearly offer the best value. This makes sense since larger pizzas are cheaper per slice so the savings decrease.
Secondly, forgetting about slices for a second, if you’re getting a large pizza, you might as well go for 4, rather than 3 toppings. It’s actually cheaper to go for 4. Just select the ‘4 Toppings Free’ Pizza, as opposed to ‘Create Your Own’.
Finally, sides clearly offer the worst value for your points. Just look at the value per slice for a mixed leaf salad.

How To Boost Your Pizza Hut Savings
Slices, of course, aren’t everything. Aside from the usual deals that Pizza Hut offer, what are some other ways to boost your savings when you spend money at Pizza Hut?
First off, search for Pizza Hut on either Quidco or TopCashback (additional savings through my referral offers page) to earn some cashback when you make your order online. Secondly, use a debit or credit card that earns cashback or points, like the American Express MR card (referral: boosted 6,000 MR sign-up bonus).
