30 Valuable LEGO Minifigures You Might Actually Own

Whilst many ‘Rare LEGO Minifigure’ lists mention the Comic-Con exclusives, the solid gold promotional sets, the prototypes (the list goes on), it’s very unlikely you’ll actually own these as part of your personal collection. Unless you made the specific effort to obtain them, the likelihood is, they’re not hidden at the bottom of your old toy box.
So, here’s my list of 30 Valuable LEGO minifigures that you may actually own in your own collection. All of these minifigs were sold in actual sets or poly bags.
All price estimates are based on the 6 month average ‘used’ sold price on Bricklink. Prices vary dependent on a number of factors. Scratches, bite marks, fading can all affect value.

30. Sonic - £12 / $16
There has only been one version of Sonic made by LEGO so far, for the 2016 Dimensions set.

29. Bellatrix - £15 / $20
Not to be confused with the 2020 version, the 2010 Bellatrix from The Burrow set has a black dress with silver vine detailing.

28. Dumbledore - £18 / $24
Most Dumbledore minfigs will fetch a good price but the 2004 version with light nougat-coloured head and purple outfit is a good find.

27. 1989 Batman - £19 / $25
Based on Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batman film, this batman minifig has a unique one-piece sweeping cape and cowl.

26. Scuba Iron Man - £19 / $25
Another rare variant of Iron Man, this 2016 version has sand green armour and a copper face shield.

25. Copper Belt Batman - £27 / $35
The second minifig from the Dark Knight Trilogy-inspired Tumbler set. This batman minifig can be differentiated from others by his copper belt and body armour.

24. Ultimate Ultron - £31 / $41
There are a few minifig versions of Ultron. This rare variant has flat silver headgear, torso and legs.

23. Aang - £33 / $43
Based on the popular cartoon series Avatar, this Aang minifig has a yellow torso with orange overshirt.

22. Quicksilver - £34 / $44
This rare version of Quicksilver was based on the 2015 Marvel Film ‘Age of Ultron’. Be on the lookout for the light blue dotted torso and white hair.

21. Space Iron Man - £37 / $48
There are a lot of Iron Man minifig variants. This rare version is distinguished from the rest by his white and gold armour.

20. Iron Patriot - £42 / $55
The only Iron Patriot minifig was obtained in a 2013 polybag. This fig has a silver face shield and dark blue armoured torso.

19. Nesquik Bunny - £44 / $58
The quirky Nesquik bunny was released as a promo in 2001. If you’re looking for this fig, keep an eye out for the iconic ears and white face.

18. Greedo - £45 / $59
Greedo is always a popular Star Wars minifig. The older the version, the better. This version has a dark turquoise head, as opposed to sand green (found in later sets).

This rare Count Dooku minifig has a black torso with silver clasp and a reddish brown cape.

16. Joker With Green Vest - £48 / $63
This version of the joker, based on the version from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy came with the iconic Tumbler set.

14. Mouth of Sauron - £52 / $68
The Mouth of Sauron minifig has an iconic spiked helmet, head with pointed teeth and a black cape.

13. Astronaut - £53 / $69
The 2003 Lunar Lander set came with not one but two Apollo Astronauts. Look for the NASA logo on the torso.

This Velma minifig can only be found in the 2015 Mystery Mansion set.

10. Davy Jones - £90 / $118
This Davy Jones minifig only came in one set, the Black Pearl. The fig has a lot of detail on the hat, beard and torso.

9. Pre Vizsla - £92 / $120
Pre-Disney+ Mandalorian, the space-fairing clan made regular appearances in the Clone Wars TV show. This minifig, with sand blue cape, came in the Mandalorian Fighter set.

8. Wormtongue - £97 / $127
This detailed Grima Wormtongue minifig has a black torso with fur collar and gold medallion.

7. Cloud City Leia - £131 / $171
The last minifig we’ll be featuring from the Cloud City set. This version of Leia has long braided brown hair and a white torso with dark orange shirt.

There were actually two versions of the Slave I set from 2002 with a few different parts and instructions. Both of them came with the now rare Jango Fett minifig.

5. Black VIP - £185 / $242
Given to those who bought the UCS Millennium Falcon during 2017. The black VIP card that came with the minifigure offered exclusive promotions to the holder.

Sometimes mistaken for the non-arm/leg printed Boba Fett, the arm/leg-printed version came exclusively in the Lego Cloud City set from 2003.
